‘The Moment’ is the latest single from Michael B Thomas. The moving piece of lo-fi folk might be his best work yet, with the perfect blend of airy synth work matching simple acoustic guitar chords from its opening moments. His endearing vocal delivery is melodic and familiar, with the essence of Elliot Smith flowing through it. “This final track is about moving forward, breaking away from your own past, and trying to overcome the feeling of loss and regret that comes along with it,” he explains.
